"I am running to raise money for the Little Bit Foundation. I like the idea of a challenge, and what can be more of a challenge than trying to complete a 100 mile race? I am not a world-class athlete, and don't consider myself a "marathoner", much less an "ultra-marathoner", but I do like to go on a nice trail run when I can. I greatly admire the Little Bit Foundation and want to do my part in helping remove the barriers to learning for as many kids as possible. I am seeking donations for every mile you think I can make it. For example, if you think I'll complete the 100 mile race, and you pledge $1 per mile, you would be donating $100 total. Even if you can only find a penny per mile, $1 goes a long way with The Little Bit Foundation. The Little Bit Foundation exists today as a leader in breaking down barriers to education for St. Louis students. Little Bit brings programs and partners into the lives of students that address basic needs, provide health education and intervention, and expand academic and career opportunities. By providing in-school programming that extends from preschool all the way through high school - TLBF lives out a vision to walk with students during their educational journey, see them graduate and go on to become successful members of a stronger St. Louis.
